Ramanuja Vidya is a dedicated digital educational platform designed for Sri Vaishnavas who seek to expand their knowledge and deepen their connection to our rich heritage. We offer a profound and systematic study of Vishishtadvaita philosophy, focusing on the sacred wisdom of both the Samskruta and Dravida Vedas.
Our Foundation: Ubaya Vedantam
The Vishishtadvaita school of thought stands firmly upon two pillars: the
Sanskrit Vedas and the
Dravida Vedam (the 4000 Divya Prabhandham).
Ramanuja Vidya
provides a structured environment for Sri Vaishnavas to explore the essential teachings of these two pillars.
Key Programs of Study
1. Sri Bhashya Saaram
The Vedanta is an ocean of knowledge describing the diverse aspects of Para Brahman. To resolve conflicting interpretations of the Upanishads, Vyasa Maharishi composed the Brahma Sutras. Sri Ramanujacharya gifted us the Sri Bhashya which unlocks the true meanings of these Sutras.
Our Mission: The heart of this initiative is the study of Sri Bhashya Saaram, distilling the essence of this monumental commentary for the benefit of all Sri Vaishnavas.
2. Thiruvaimozhi Saaram
As the pinnacle of the Divya Prabhandham, Thiruvaimozhi provides the essence of the Vedas in beautiful Tamil. Building upon the commentaries of our Purvacharyas, our Thiruvaimozhi Saaram sessions are crafted to help Sri Vaishnavas uncover the deeper, inner meanings of Nammalvar's divine hymns.
3. Shastra Lessons (Tarkam & Mimamsa)
To strengthen one's analytical understanding of the Sampradayam, we offer specialized lessons in:
- Tarka Sangraha: The foundations of logic and reasoning.
- Tattva Mukta Kalapa (TMK): Swami Vedanta Desika's profound metaphysical treatise.
- Future Offerings: We are currently developing lessons in Mimamsa Shastra to further enrich our curriculum.
Varayogi Vidya: Esoteric Wisdom
Through the Varayogi Vidya stream, we offer a deep dive into the Rahasya Granthas. These sessions provide Vedanta-based insights into the core principles of Prapatti, specifically for Sri Vaishnavas studying:
- Mumukshupadi
- Srivachana Bhushanam
These teachings are shared through engaging video sessions and interactive discussion classes, fostering a community of reflection among Sri Vaishnavas.
Sri.U.Ve.Raghavan Swami
Sri.U.Ve.Raghavan Swami has pursued traditional and in-depth studies under various Āchāryas, about:
• Tarka and
Vyākaraṇa Śāstras
• Comprehensive study of
Mīmāṁsā and
Vedānta Śāstras
• Extensive study of
Bhagavad Viṣayam and
Rahasyas
He has also mastered the 4000 Divya Prabandham and regularly performs Vāchika Kainkaryam at various Divya Desams and Abhimāna Sthalams.
With the vision of making the teachings of Śrī Rāmānuja Sampradāyam accessible to all, Ramanuja Vidya was founded in 2024 as an inclusive educational platform for all Srivaishnavas.
Since the commencement of classes in 2024, conducted in Tamil, many srivaishnavas have already gained a deep understanding of Tarka Shastra, as well as the essence (Saram) of Sri Bhashyam and Thiruvaimozhi.
This initiative helps in discovering the beauty of ancient Indian logic and see how our Purvacharyas applied these Shastric principles in sampradaya granthas.
